The platform also provides excellent SERP analysis, showing you exactly what you’re up against for specific search terms.

It’s actually pretty easy to go down a keyword rabbit hole and find all kinds of interesting opportunities you never even considered. In fact, it’s one of its best features, especially when you’re trying to rank for something somewhat generic. SEMRush exposes you to that passable keyword on the margin of acceptability, which you can comfortably start ranking for without slogging through tonnes of content.

Ahrefs

Ahrefs, however, takes a slightly different approach. Its Keywords Explorer tool often shows different search volumes compared to SEMRush, as it uses clickstream data to provide what many consider to be more accurate figures. It also offers excellent keyword ideas through its ‘Questions’ feature, which is particularly useful for content marketing. 

Where can I get the most backlinks for my buck?

Ahrefs
