loveit coverit’s parent company, Pier Insurance, had provided wholesale mobile phone insurance through a high-street phone company for many years. However, they had a dream of cutting out the middle man and selling directly to the consumer.
In 2015, Better were recruited to help with the creation and development of a consumer gadget insurance brand that would eventually become loveit coverit.
Developing a brand from conception to reality is no easy feat. Better’s digital strategy involved everything from drafting the company’s ethos to designing the website:

- Fine-tune SEO and paid search marketing campaigns
- Drafting content for email campaigns, website content and press releases
- Work with Money.co.uk and MoneySupermarket.com to establish rankings
- Manage social media and customer service
loveit coverit is now one of the UK’s leading insurance providers for mobile phones and tablets. The company insures tens of thousands of new customers annually, with over 1 million devices insured to date.
Better is also responsible for changing the way mobile phone insurers are ranked on MoneySupermarket.com. By refining their ranking system, users could more easily see the merits of specialist gadget insurance and in turn, choose a better insurance policy for their requirements.
