Dura Composites, global provider of composite products, approached Better Agency in 2015 after deciding to modernise their website and implement a fresh SEO strategy to increase online enquiries and leads.
With rankings that were on a decline due to previous SEO advice, legacy code and algorithm issues, the company realised the needed to reassess their approach.
The focus of our digital strategy for Dura Composites was to build a new website that would improve their performance, build their credibility and help them to reach new customers.

Fixing the SEO problem
Our first focus was to repair the technical damage on the Dura Composites website. After completing an intensive SEO health audit of the site, we established and removed numerous links that were causing issues.
We also turned our attention to developing each of the service areas within the site.
This gave us a clean slate to build on and an opportunity to implement a new plan. We have now been able to deliver sector leading results for Dura Composites, and they are now on page one in google for many of their key phrases.
Modernising the website

Dura Composites provide a wide range of products that cover multiple industries, which is why we designed and built new site areas to improve the usability for customers. These new areas also included comprehensive content rewrites, with careful attention to the findings from our keyword analysis.
Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
We were keen to implement improvements across the site that would significantly improve their conversion rates. Whilst changing the design and structure of the site, Better also tested the points of conversion. Our results lead us to a conversion optimisation solution that included redesigning the contact enquiry forms and enhancing Dura Composite’s current on-site offer.

With the site now in great technical health, we implemented a digital PR strategy that helped to strengthen their link profile, acquiring natural and high-quality links and citations that continue to assist with boosting their organic search positions further.
We integrated paid search into our work with Dura Composites and we have witnessed some fantastic results. We have continually refined our strategy in order to find the perfect balance between reducing spend and delivering increased leads.
